I have been procrastinating on writing you how pleased I was with Vortech’s service on the APC Infrastructure Project. I especially want to thank you for assigning Chris McLane to the project. As you know, our data center is very odd shaped being only 7 foot wide by at most 50 feet long. This of course presented lots of challenges, including installing the APC Power Distribution and Battery cabinets in the basement and running all the way up to 2 floor without any stacking wiring closets to APC Racks in the data center. I have been running IT shops for 30 plus years now. I have never met a more skilled, helpful, and caring person than Chris McLane in my career. Chris takes the extra time and goes the extra mile to understand what the customer’s project involves and the necessary requirements, including timeframe, to apply to his part of the overall project. I have had contractors before and most just want to do their part without understanding how it fits into the big picture. Others will do a job wrong rather than asking if a blueprint is wrong, knowing they will get paid again to rip out what they did and redo it. Chris and Vortech are not like that. Chris has represented Vortech in the highest level of professionalism. Chris has shown great character qualities such as diligence, thoroughness, resourcefulness, attentiveness, flexibility, punctuality, determination, creativity, decisiveness, patience, dependability, endurance, initiative, availability, and responsibility. Chris went the extra mile with us making sure that everything was working, even though he truthfully was not responsible for it. For example, when APC had a bad switch in the transfer panel box they provided, Chris followed up for us with APC including when APC sent the wrong replacement part. We saved a day on the project because of Chris going the extra mile.

Again, thank you for all your work and all the team of players at Vortech that work behind the scene that made our project a very successful project.
