Security Engineering Lithicum, Maryland
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that Security Engineering is very pleased with the work performed by Vortech at jobsite #140. Your site supervisor, Chris Suydan has made a great impression on Security Engineering and the general contractor, Whiting-Turner. This project started "behind the eight ball" and Chris did everything within his power to get Vortech ahead of Whiting-Turner's schedule. What I found most impressive about Chris was that he continued to push the project even when he was ahead of schedule. As a result, when minor setbacks occurred, he did not fail behind schedule. It takes foresight on a supervisor's part to plan for the unexpected such as he did. Chris interacted well with my staff, the other contractors and Whiting-Turner. He kept the job flowing by not always coming t me with problems; instead he would find the proper authority, get what he needed and then inform me of of the situation and/or solution after the fact. His work quality meets the standards that Security Engineering expects and he requires the same from his staff. I am sorry that I cannot name all of Chris' staff by name but all should be rewarded for the work they have preformed. In closing, I received my biggest surprise when I learned that until this project, Mr. Suydan had never supervised a job of this size. You have a special employee on your staff. I just wanted to make you aware of Chris' efforts and that I would recommend that this letter be put in his personnel file to be revisited at his next evaluation. In future endeavors with Vortech, I will be requesting Chris Suydan as the site supervisor. Regards, E.P. - Operations Manager |
