We met with the GC and your various employees on the job and I must say I was very impressed.  The workmanship is excellent and the employees appear well trained and professional.  From a lost control standpoint, operations appeared well controlled.  General working conditions were good, with good lighting, housekeeping and storage practices noted.  Employees were observed working safely using stepladders and rented scissor lifts.  They have been properly trained and are certified to use the lift equipment.  Welding curtains were used during welding operation to prevent welder's flash to other employees and workers in the area and fire extinguishers were stationed next to the welders for fire protection.  Employees were also observed wearing appropriate personal protective equipment for the exposures here.  No unusual hazards observed and no recommendations developed as a result of this inspection.  Please pass on my sincere thanks to Ken Shorter for his time and assistance in setting up this job site inspection.  His cooperation was greatly appreciated.
